Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], April 1: On the occasion of World TB Day, the RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center--in collaboration with the SBI Foundation--played a pivotal role in the state's mission to become TB-free by conducting TB screenings and diagnostic tests, as well as distributing medicines and nutrition kits in Ranchi and Khunti (Jharkhand). Working in conjunction with CCL, the RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center conducted TB screenings in the Chakara district, thereby raising awareness regarding the disease. Furthermore, by coordinating with the local district administration, the Center contributed significantly toward the goal of eradicating TB. In partnership with BCCL and with the support of the Jharkhand State TB Elimination Department, the Center organized medical camps to conduct TB screenings, making concerted efforts to combat the disease.
