Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 5 : The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday sought a response from the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on a petition challenging allegedly incorrect questions in the TGT English recruitment examination.
Hearing the matter, the single-judge Bench of Justice Siddharth Nandan directed the Commission to file an affidavit within three weeks, clarifying the decision it intends to take regarding the disputed questions.
Pursuant to the court's direction, the Commission's Secretary and Controller of Examinations appeared before the Bench during the hearing.
The High Court also directed the Commission to provide its response on the remaining eight disputed questions to the petitioners' counsel before August 17, enabling the petitioners to file detailed objections on those questions as well.
The petition has been filed by Aditya Kumar Singh along with 17 other candidates, challenging a total of 41 questions asked in the TGT English recruitment examination.
The matter has been listed for further hearing on September 1, 2026.
