Asha Bhosle's last recorded song to be released on this special day

New Delhi [India], August 27 : Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle's last recorded film song is set to be released on her birth anniversary in September.
The song, titled "Ae Meri Zindagi, Tu Chupi Hai Kahan," will feature in the upcoming film 'Om Ka Hari' and will be released on September 8.
As per a release, the song was recorded in late 2023, when Bhosle was over 90 years old. It will be released as a tribute to the legendary singer and her long career in Indian music and cinema.
Directed by Harish Vyas, 'Om Ka Hari' is a drama-comedy that stars Anshuman Jha, Raghubir Yadav, Soni Razdan and Ayesha Kapur. The film focuses on the relationship between a father and his son and looks at the differences between two generations.
The story deals with family, love and the things that often remain unsaid between loved ones. Bhosle's song is part of this story and speaks about finding happiness, love and expressing one's feelings.
Talking about the decision to release the song on Asha Bhosle's birthday, filmmaker Harish Vyas, in a statement, said, "Launching the song on her birthday is intended as a celebration of Asha Ji's timeless voice, her immense legacy and the generations of listeners whose lives her music has touched."
Anshuman Jha also spoke about what the song means to him and the film.
He said, "Om Ka Hari is deeply special to me because, at its heart, it is about the importance of saying 'I love you' to your father, something I never got the chance to do. To have Asha Ji's voice carry the song that represents the catharsis of the film is one of the most profound and memorable moments of my life as an artist. Being in the studio with her was pure joy and contentment. I only wish she were here in person to celebrate this moment with us. But I know she is always with us, in spirit, in her music, and in every life her voice continues to touch."
'Om Ka Hari' is produced by First Ray Films. Vyas has earlier directed which starred Sanjay Mishra, Anshuman Jha and Pankaj Tripathi, and , starring Anshuman Jha and Zareen Khan.
Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12 at the age of 92 due to multiple organ failure. She was cremated with full state honours at Shivaji Park Crematorium in Mumbai. Many stars, including Vicky Kaushal and Aamir Khan, attended the funeral.
