Bihar: CM Nitish Kumar attends program on Maharana Pratap's death anniversary; JDU VP calls him "servant of Bihar"

Patna (Bihar) [India], January 19 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in a program organised on the death anniversary of Maharana Pratap.
Speaking to ANI on the occasion, Janata Dal (United) MP and the organiser of the event, Sanjay Jha, equated the Chief Minister to Maharana Pratap in ethos, calling him "the servant of Bihar."
"The way Maharana Pratap worked for, and with all sections of the society, similarly, our Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also cares for everyone equally. He is a hero just like Maharana Pratap. While Maharana Pratap sacrificed himself for the country, our CM continues to work relentlessly for the people of Bihar. He is the servant of Bihar," he said.
Meanwhile, Minister Ashok Choudhary said that the party's Vice President organises this program annually to commemorate Maharana Pratap. He also highlighted the Chief Minister's participation in the program.
The minister noted the significance of celebrating such occasions to remember figures who worked for social harmony.
"Party Vice President Sanjay Singh organises a program every year on the death anniversary of Maharana Pratap... He has consistently worked to raise awareness in society about Maharana Pratap's message of social harmony. This year, too, the death anniversary was observed, and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also participated in it. Celebrating the death anniversaries of such great figures who worked for social harmony promotes goodwill in society...," he stated.
Maharana Pratap was born on May 9, 1540. The Rajput ruler of Mewar in Rajasthan fought the battle of Haldighati with Akbar in 1576.
