New Delhi [India], November 7 : The staff of PP Subroto Park, PS Delhi Cantt, has arrested four accused persons in a robbery case and has recovered Rs 18,000 cash and a car used in the offence, DCP Amit Goel said.
The accused arrested are identified as Amit alias Kaku, Pawan, Manish alias Churri and Sonam.
DCP Goel further added that on November 3, a PCR call was received at PS Delhi Cantt regarding a robbery in an unknown car. The complainant reported that after arriving at Dhaula Kuan Bus Stand from IGI Airport at about 1:30 AM, he boarded a private tour car that was already occupied by three men and one woman.
During the journey, the woman started abusing and threatening him while the others forcibly took his belongings, including a mobile phone and debit cards.
The accused withdrew Rs 33,000 from his account using the stolen card, broke his mobile phone, and threw it away before abandoning him at an isolated place. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 283/2025, U/s 309 BNS was registered at PS Delhi Cantt, New Delhi, and an investigation was taken up.
A raid was promptly conducted, resulting in the arrest of Amit, alias Kaku, and Manish, alias Churri. On their instance, co-accused Pawan and Sonam were also apprehended from their residences.
DCP Goel further informed that cash amounting to Rs 18,000 was robbed from the complainant, and a car was used to carry out the robbery.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the involvement of the accused persons in other similar offences.
