Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 28 : Reacting to the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's 'Gujarat model not of economic, but of theft' statement, Telangana BJP chief N. Ramchander Rao said that Gujarat is happy with the BJP, and its model has been an administrative model for the entire nation.
"The BJP has ruled Gujarat for more than 25 years, and today the people of Gujarat are happy with the BJP, and the Gujarat model has been an administrative model for the entire nation. Even the Congress party and others appreciate the Gujarat model."
This statement comes after Gandhi's allegations of "vote theft" against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, and claimed that the Gujarat model was essentially a "model of theft".
He said that Congress will prove the allegations of vote theft "beyond a doubt" in the coming days.
"We will inform you within the next six months that they have developed a model of theft in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha, which they have named the Gujarat model. It was not an economic model, but a model of theft," Gandhi, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Lok Sabha, said while addressing the gathering in Muzaffarpur on the tenth day of the 'Voter Adhikaar Yatra.'
The Raebareli MP said the Congress will work to expose the alleged discrepancies that emerged in the Mahadevapura assembly constituency from other areas as well.
"In the coming days, we will prove to you beyond a doubt that Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and the Chief Election Commissioner are stealing votes. The youth of Bihar will show PM Narendra Modi how 'vote chori' will be put to an end," he said.
Meanwhile, Telangana BJP chief also spoke about the flood situation, saying that the flood situation in the state has worsened due to continuous rainfall that has flooded several areas.
He said, "The flood situation in Telangana has worsened. The incessant rains over the last two days, and for more than two days, especially in Medak, Kamareddy, and other areas, have caused flooding. Serious situation in Telangana, the state government should come forward and help people."
