"Nava Raipur will become growth hub for Chhattisgarh's economy": Minister OP Choudhary

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], June 22 : Chhattisgarh Minister OP Choudhary on Sunday said that "Nava Raipur" is emerging as one of the "best" capital cities in the country, citing recent developments under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
Choudhary credited Union Home Minister Amit Shah for playing a key role in achieving a major milestone for the city, adding that significant progress has been made over the last one and a half years.
Speaking to ANI, Minister OP Choudhary said, "Nava Raipur is emerging as the best capital city in the country, and thanks to Amit Shah's efforts, another major milestone has been achieved. In these past 1.5 years, under the leadership of CM Vishnu Deo Sai, we have paved the way for NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), and NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and IT)..."
He further said that Nava Raipur is achieving growth in sectors such as data centres, semiconductors, and textiles, which will contribute to the state's economic growth and provide numerous employment opportunities.
"Our city is progressing to new heights in sectors like data centres, semiconductors, and textiles. For the youth of Chhattisgarh, the KPO and BPO work here is collectively transforming it into a dream destination, and it will become a growth hub for Chhattisgarh's economy, providing numerous employment opportunities..." the Minister added.
Earlier today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for National Forensic Science University (NFSU) and Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in Chhattisgarh's Nava Raipur.
Shah said that the setting up of National Forensic Science University (NFSU) and Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in Nava Raipur would further advance and strengthen the criminal justice system of Chhattisgarh and central India.
"Today marks an important day for Chhattisgarh's criminal justice system. In a way, three new initiatives are being started to further advance the criminal justice system: The laying of the foundation stones for National Forensic Science University and Central Forensic Science Laboratory laid today, along with the transit campus of NFSU inaugurated," Shah said while addressing the gathering in Nava Raipur.
"The move will strengthen the criminal justice system in central India," he said.
Shah informed that the Chhattisgarh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs 5,000 crore at the investment summit held this year, which would bring industries to the state.
