"NDA will form govt in Bihar under PM Modi's leadership": Uttarakhand CM Dhami

Almora (Uttarakhand) [India], October 28 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will come to power in Bihar under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He added that there is strong public support for double-engine governments nationwide.
Speaking to the reporters in Almora, CM Dhami said, "Wherever elections are being held across the country, the public is forming double-engine governments under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Because double-engine governments are rapidly developing and fulfilling the people's expectations. And in Bihar too, an NDA government will be formed under Modi's leadership, and people are supporting Nitish Babu..."
The voting for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, whereas bye-elections for eight seats across seven states and Union Territories will be held on November 11. The results for both will be declared on November 14.
Dhami reviewed the progress of the ongoing development works at Jageshwar Dham under the master plan initiated after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jageshwar Dham, and work is underway here under a master plan. Today, I reviewed it, and the work needs to be completed as quickly as possible. After speaking with all the stakeholders and based on their suggestions, work on the grand and divine Jageshwar Dham will move forward rapidly," he said.
He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects worth Rs 76 crore in Almora.
"The number of devotees has increased significantly in recent years, and there should be a good infrastructure for them... Additionally, projects worth 76 crore rupees were inaugurated and foundation stones laid here today. These projects will undoubtedly prove to be milestones of development for this entire region and the surrounding areas in the future," CM Dhami said.
Reiterating his government's zero-tolerance stance on corruption, irregularities, and cheating in recruitment, Dhami stated that transparency and fairness in recruitment are top priorities for his government.
"It is our resolve that youth should not face any corruption, irregularities, or cheating in recruitment examinations at any cost. Therefore, in the last four years, more than 26,500 recruitments have been completed, and no case has been filed in any of them. Only one case was reported. The SIT investigated, and the accused has been arrested. Preparations are underway to reschedule the examination. The examination was canceled. The CBI has also begun its work," CM Dhami said.
The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) graduate-level competitive examination 2025 has come under intense scrutiny following allegations of malpractice, prompting the state government to launch a judicially supervised probe.
