"NDA will form govt in Bihar with big victory": Union Minister Chirag Paswan

Nov 09, 2025

Patna (Bihar) [India], November 9 : As the campaign for the second phase of the Bihar polls concluded, Union Minister Chirag Paswan expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would form the government with a significant margin in the state.
Speaking to reporters, Chirag Paswan said, "The Campaign has culminated on a good note. There is enthusiasm among the NDA. The alliance has supported each other, and we are going to form the government with a big victory."
Reacting to Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi's allegations of vote theft, he said that the opposition is merely preparing excuses in fear of getting trounced in the polls.
Paswan said, "They themselves do not believe in their own allegations. If they did, they would go to the Supreme Court. This is an excuse for defeat. On the 14th, when they (Mahagathbandhan) lose, at least they will be able to give an excuse in a press conference. That's why they are making these allegations."
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the efforts and enthusiasm of BJP workers participating in the party's 'Mera Booth, Sabse Majboot' initiative during the Bihar Assembly election campaign, calling them the "very pillars" who will ensure the BJP-NDA's success.
Sharing ANI Digital's X post, PM Modi highlighted the dedication of grassroots workers who are driving the campaign's momentum across the state.
"During the Bihar Assembly Election campaign, the enthusiasm and zeal of our workers in the 'Mera Booth, Sabse Majboot' program was worth witnessing. These workers of ours are the very pillars of the organisation who ensure the victory of the BJP-NDA. I am confident that this time too, we will see splendid results of their hard work and dedication in Bihar," PM Modi said in a post on X.
The first phase of the Bihar elections, which saw a record voter turnout of 65.08 per cent, marked the highest polling percentage in the state's history.
Elections for 122 assembly seats are scheduled on November 11. The results of the Bihar Assembly elections are slated to be announced on November 14.
