"Taken nation forward in last 11 years": Eknath Shinde extends birthday wishes to PM Modi

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 17 : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday extended greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, praising his leadership over the past 11 years.
Shinde also lauded the launch of the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan.
Speaking to the reporters, Eknath Shinde said, "Today is the birthday of PM Modi, and I extend greetings to the Prime Minister. PM Modi is celebrating his 75th birthday by launching the 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan'... In the last 11 years, PM Modi has taken the nation forward... Today the nation is becoming 'Atmanirbhar'..."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950.
The PM officially joined the RSS in 1971, but he was introduced to the Sangh at a much younger age.
In 1985, he was assigned to join the Bharatiya Janata Party and quickly rose through the party's ranks, becoming its General Secretary in 1998. Three years later, in 2001, he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. And 13 years after that, in 2014, Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for the first time.
Celebrations for Prime Minister Modi's 75th birthday are underway across the country, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organising a fortnight-long sewa pakhwada with various events.
A 15-day nationwide campaign named Seva Pakhwada has been organised to mark PM Modi's birthday. Under this campaign, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to conduct blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and exhibitions across the country to showcase the achievements of the central government.
Meanwhile, Shinde also said that Shiv Sena is fully prepared for the upcoming local body elections and expressed confidence that the Mahayuti alliance will secure a big victory.
"Shiv Sena is always ready. We work 24/7. Mahayuti will win the local body elections with a big margin," Shinde told reporters.
