Patna (Bihar) [India], July 27 : Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha on Sunday described Operation Sindoor as a historic and bold step against terrorism, ahead of its planned discussion in Parliament. He said the operation reflects the strength and resolve of a "new India" and sends a clear message to those supporting terrorism.
"In the history of the country, whenever a terrorist attack has occurred, the act of entering 200 kilometres into another country to destroy their (attackers') base has only been done for the first time through Operation Sindoor. This is new India. If anyone attacks the country, we will strike them, and this is the 'new normal' of this country... It would be good if this were discussed in Parliament. The country and the world already know about it," Jha told ANI.
He added that the operation is not over but currently on hold. "Operation Sindoor is not over yet, but it is currently on hold. India and the world know that these terrorist activities are state-sponsored. Through Operation Sindoor, the entire world has seen our strength," he said.
