Uttarakhand Board exam 2024 results out: Priyanshi Rawat tops Class 10, Piyush Kholia and Kanchan Joshi top 12

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], April 30 : Uttarakhand Board exam results were declared on Tuesday. Piyush Kholia of Almora and Kanchan Joshi of Haldwani have jointly secured the highest marks in the intermediate examination by securing 97.66 per cent marks, while Priyanshi Rawat topped the Class 10 securing 100 per cent marks.
Rawat scored a perfect 500 mark out of 500, while Kholia of Almora scored 488 out of 500 marks.

Priyanshi said, "I stopped going to any function for the High School examination for a year and kept focus on my studies. During this time my parents, teachers, and uncle also helped me a lot in my studies. I did not study more than 3-4 hours but I did it consistently."
She further expressed, "I want to become an officer in the Indian Army like her father."
Anshul Negi of Rudraprayag secured the second position in the intermediate exam. He scored 485 out of 500 marks with 97 per cent marks. Harish Chandra Bijalwan of Rishikesh secured the third position. He secured 480 out of 500 marks with 96 per cent.
A total of 82.63 per cent of students have passed in UK Board Intermediate. In this, the pass percentage of boys stood at 78.97 and the pass percentage of girls stood at 85.96 per cent.
The UBSE conducted the board exam for classes 10 and 12 from February 27 to March 16, 2024, in pen-paper mode. According to the data provided by the Uttarakhand board, 1,16,379 students appeared for the UBSE class 10 board exam 2024 and 94,768 students appeared for the UBSE board exam 2024, conducted from 10 am to 1 pm at over 1228 exam centres.

Chief Minister Dhami has congratulated all the students who passed the high school and intermediate examinations of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education.
The Chief Minister said that this is the result of your hard work and dedication, I have full faith that you will bring glory to the state and the country in the times to come.
He added, "The students who failed in the examination should not be disappointed, their parents are requested not to put pressure on the children but to support them. This is not the last criterion for success in life. All of you can achieve success by trying with full dedication and more hard work."
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also spoke to students who secured top positions in State Board examination, through telephone and wished them a bright future.
He said, "This excellent result reflects the tireless hard work, dedication and commitment of these children."
