Siwan (Bihar) [India], May 30 : Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Thursday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly bringing Pakistan into the Bihar election discourse and questioned, "What does Bihar election have to do with Pakistan?"
Speaking to the media during a public event in Siwan, Kishor questioned the relevance of Pakistan in the context of the election campaign in Bihar, as PM held a roadshow in Patna on Thursday evening after inaugurating the New Terminal Building of Jayprakash Narayan International Airport in the state capital.
"What does Bihar election have to do with Pakistan? Election is in Patna, not of India-Pakistan. Don't fool people. You were made to be the PM to fight against Pakistan...fight Pakistan and China, the country is with you. But currently, the election is in Bihar. We want to know when there will be proper education in Bihar. When will the youths get employment in Bihar?...when will our migration from Bihar stop?" said Kishor.
Meanwhile, during the PM's roadshow, people were present in large numbers and greeted him enthusiastically. PM Modi waved to people, many of whom were carrying the Tricolour. They also raised slogans.
People, having their homes along the route, came to the rooftops and balconies to have a glimpse of PM Modi.
Earlier, PM inaugurated the New Terminal Building of Jayprakash Narayan International Airport, accompanied by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Union Minister of Civil Aviation Rammohan Naidu. Built at a cost of around Rs 1,200 crore, the terminal will cater to one crore passengers annually.
PM also laid the foundation stone of the new civil enclave at Bihta Airport, a Rs 1,410 crore project aimed at serving the rapidly expanding educational and residential areas near Patna.
