Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 2 : All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday took a veiled jibe at the BJP over alleged demolitions flouting the Supreme Court's guidelines.
Owaisi shared a few lines on his social media from Sahir Ludhianvi's poem, which states that oppression will end one day, while blood and fire will remain.
Sharing an X post, "Reply to State Governments who don't follow Supreme Court laid Guidelines on Demolitions & use Bulldozers to do Zulm (oppression)."
"Zulm phir zulm hai baDhta hai to miT jaata, haik huun phir khuun hai Tapkega to jam ja.ega, zulm ki qismat-e-nakara-o-rusva se kaho, zulm ki baat hi kya zulm ki auqat hi kya, zulm bas zulm hai aghaz se anjam talak, khuun phir khuun hai sau shakl badal sakta haiaisi shaklen ki miTao to miTa.e na bane, aaise sho.ale ki bujhao to bujha.e na bane, aaise na.are ki dabao to daba.e na bane," Owaisi posted.
The AIMIM leader's remarks come after the local administration in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly carried out bulldozer action on Mohsin Raza's property following his arrest in connection with the Bareilly violence case.
Mohsin is connected to Maulana Tauqeer Raza, who was arrested earlier and is currently in judicial custody.
Bareilly Range Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajay Kumar Sahni said that many associates of Maulana Tauqeer Raza, who has emerged as the chief conspirator in the stone pelting case, have been arrested.
"Along with Maulana Tauqeer, many of his associates have also been jailed based on evidence. People from Bengal and Bihar have also been arrested and sent to jail. It has been confirmed that this was not a sudden reaction but was pre-planned, in which many things like posters, banners, etc. were already collected," DIG Sahni told ANI.
The city has remained tense since a protest over "I Love Muhammad" posters row turned violent on September 26.
A group of people had gathered outside Ala Hazrat Dargah and Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) chief Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan's house, and according to the police, the protestors pelted stones at the police during the protest after the Friday prayers.
