10 people arrested, no one is student: DCP on Jamia incident

New Delhi, Dec 17 (ANI): DCP of South-East Delhi, Chinmoy Biswal told that total 10 people have been arrested till now in connection with Jamia Millia Islamia violence during protest that took place on December 15. During media brief, he told, “Total 10 people have been arrested till now, three of them have criminal background. No student has been arrested by Delhi Police.” Speaking on the cartridges found, he said, “It is a subject of investigation. We are looking into it.”
