2-day North Regional Review Meeting of ‘Ayushman Sangam’ organised in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 11 (ANI): The two-day North Regional Review Meeting of ‘Ayushman Sangam’ was organised in Srinagar. It was organised by National Health Authority. Seven states including Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh participated in the meeting. ‘Ayushman Sangam’ program aimed to provide affordable and accessible healthcare services to people across India, especially those belonging to low-income households. During the program, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders attended the meeting to discuss the challenges, successes, and future strategies of the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) scheme. Participants shared their experiences to ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services under the program. They also discussed ways to strengthen the infrastructure and improve coordination between different stakeholders.
