23,000 Indians have returned to country from Ukraine: PM Modi

New Delhi, Mar 15 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 15 during virtual interaction with all stakeholders including embassy officials engaged in Ukraine evacuation, said that around 23,000 Indians have returned to the country from Ukraine. He also added that evacuated nationals of 18 other countries from Ukraine and sent over 90 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and its neighboring countries. While addressing the virtual interaction with all stakeholders involved in the evacuation process of the stranded Indian nationals in the war-hit Ukraine, he said, “Around 23,000 Indians have returned to the country from Ukraine. Running this evacuation operation was challenging under such circumstances.” “We also evacuated nationals of 18 other countries from Ukraine. We have sent over 90 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and its neighboring countries,” PM Modi added.
