250 Students On Waiting List: Gujarat’s Govt School Becomes First Choice for Parents

Gujarat’s PM SHRI Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Nagar Primary School No. 24 in Botad is challenging the traditional perception of government schools. With 1,364 students from Classes 1 to 8 and around 250 children on the waiting list, the school has become a preferred choice for parents. About 82 children of senior government officials also study here. Its 31 teachers use smart classrooms, laboratories, technology, arts and practical activities to promote holistic learning. Students have performed strongly in Gyan Sadhana, NMMS, Khel Mahakumbh and Kala Mahakumbh. Alumni have also joined important professions, including the Army. With 19 new classrooms added, the school continues to expand, showing how quality education can build trust beyond the government-school label.
