AAP workers, supporters hold protest outside party headquarters in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 05 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party workers and supporters held a protest outside the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters in Delhi on October 05. Education Minister Atishi and National Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar also held the protest. They were protesting over the arrest of AAP leader Sanjay Singh. Protesters were holding placards and raised slogans during the protest. Notably, the Enforcement Directorate on October 04 arrested AAP leader Sanjay Singh in connection with the liquor policy case.“Since the last four days, an undeclared emergency has been implemented in this country... First, raids were conducted on the houses of journalists, and they were detained... TMC MP Mahua Moitra was detained... Nothing was recovered from Sanjay Singh's house in the ED's raid, yet he was arrested... This is an undeclared emergency because the BJP knows they will lose the upcoming Lok Sabha elections... AAP is doing a peaceful protest, but the police are brutally beating our party workers...The same thing happened in an emergency, and today the same thing is happening in an undeclared emergency,” said Atishi.
