“Accused will be severely punished…” Ashwini Vaishnaw on Udaipur-Ahmedabad railway track blast in Rajasthan

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Nov 13 (ANI): An explosion took place on Udaipur-Ahmedabad railway track in the Jawar-Mines police station area of Udaipur on November 12. The incident took place hours before the Asarwa-Udaipur express train was supposed to pass. However, due to the disruption, the train was halted at Dungarpur. Udaipur-Ahmedabad railway track was inaugurated 13 days ago by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The investigation is underway. On this matter Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the accused will be severely punished. He said, “There was an explosion on a track about 35 km away from Udaipur. Teams of ATS, NIA & Railway's RPF are on site. Investigation is underway. The accused will be severely punished. The team to restore the bridge is ready on the site.” He added, “As soon as the preliminary investigation is done, within 3-4 hours, the trains will start working again. We have deployed the best possible teams to investigate this.”
