New Delhi, Aug 02 (ANI): After being closed for 105 days, Delhi's National Zoological Park reopened for the public on August 02. The zoo was temporarily shut due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in the national capital during the second wave. On the first day, more than 92 per cent of tickets were sold. However, the visitors have to strictly follow COVID-appropriate behaviour. The zoo will operate in two shifts 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm. People will now be able to book tickets online. Speaking to ANI, The zoo director Ramesh Pandey said, “There are two slots for visitors -- first from 8 am to 12 noon and second is between 1 pm and 5 pm. Tickets can be booked on the zoo's website. There is no physical booking of tickets.”
