Apache attack helicopters will bring in lethal firepower with great accuracy: IAF

Pathankot (Punjab), Sep 03 (ANI): Public Relations Officer of IAF, Anupam Banerjee on the induction of Apache attack helicopters said we had attack helicopters earlier, but this aircraft brings in lethal firepower with great accuracy. Anupam Banerjee said, “It’s a ceremonial induction of the aircraft into IAF. As of now, we've 8 aircraft. 22 aircraft will come in phased manner and all will be inducted into IAF. We had attack helicopters earlier, but this aircraft brings in lethal firepower with great accuracy.” Indian Air Force’s advanced Apache AH-64E chopper is set to be inducted at Pathankot Air Base on September 3. The multi-role combat Apache helicopters are used by the US Army. Indian Air Force had signed contract with Boeing Ltd for 22 helicopters in 2015. Induction of Apache choppers will boost combat capabilities of Indian armed forces.
