ASC celebrates its 262nd Corps Day

Bengaluru, Dec 8 (ANI): Army Service Corps (ASC) celebrated its 262nd Corps Day on December 8. They will celebrate its 11th Reunion on December 9. The celebrations took place at ASC Centre and College in Bengaluru. Celebrations include, Ceremonial Parade, Felicitation of Veer Naris and Tornadoes Display events. Army Service Corps is the oldest, largest administrative service of the Indian Army. Its existence persists ever since the rule of the East India Company. The Corps extending its scope of activities now operates on land, water and in the air as well. It operates over all types of terrain from dry deserts to snowy mountains, jungles and high-altitude areas. Brave soldiers have been awarded medals.
