Assamese artists hold concert against CAA

Guwahati (Assam), Dec 15 (ANI): Group of artists from Assam staged protest against Citizenship (Amendment) Act in Guwahati. The concert was themed ‘No CAA, Concert for peace and harmony’. A protestor said, “The reason is quite clear to the entire nation. Assamese community is protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. It is because it’s threat to our indigenous identity.” Nationwide protest stirred against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill which turned into an Act after receiving assent from President Kovind earlier this week.
