Assembly elections in five states will be completed in seven phases: CEC Sushil Chandra

New Delhi, Jan 08 (ANI): Election Commission of India (ECI) announced Assembly polls schedule for Goa, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh on January 08. While addressing at the Press Conference, Chief Election Commissioner said that the Assembly elections in all five states will be completed in total seven phases. “Assembly elections in all five states will be completed in total seven phases,” said CEC Sushil Chandra. “Uttar Pradesh to go to poll in seven phases from February 10 to March 07; Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa to vote on February 14 and Manipur to vote on February 27 and March 03; counting of votes on March 10,” added Chief Election Commissioner.
