At UNHRC, Director General of GIWEH hails India’s water security model

India’s approach to water security, powered by digitalisation, smart technology and AI, could inspire other nations, says Dr. Nidal Salim, Director General of GIWEH. Speaking on the sidelines of the 63rd UNHRC session, Salim stressed cooperation and negotiation in managing transboundary water resources. He said the Second UN Water Conference can provide a platform for dialogue, information-sharing and equitable water governance, while focusing on vulnerable communities and access to safe water and sanitation.
