Baloch Voice Association President Munir Mengal calls for UN Action on Pakistan

Baloch Voice Association President Munir Mengal has raised concerns over the situation in Balochistan on the sidelines of the 63rd UNHRC session. Mengal alleged that military operations were affecting civilians, particularly women and children, and called on the UN, European Union and international community to put pressure on Pakistan over human rights concerns. He also urged dialogue between the Baloch and Pakistan through a guarantor, arguing that military operations and suppression cannot resolve the conflict.
