Bandipora DC along with SSP flags off ‘Chota Amarnath’ Yatra in Bandipora

Bandipora (J&K), Aug 09, 2025 (ANI): Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Indu Kanwal Chib along with SSP Bandipora Harmeet Singh Mehta flagged off the procession of pilgrims to Chota Amarnath Yatra. Pilgrims from different areas, including Kashmiri Pandits from Jammu and Kashmir, participated in the event. Officers from the district administration, volunteers, and senior citizens were also present. Around 70 pilgrims were permitted to undertake this pilgrimage this year. Notably, Chota Amarnath Yatra involves a visit to holy cave, regarded as a place of worship for Lord Shiva in Arin Dardpora, Bandipora.
