Bengaluru metro pillar collapse claims 2 lives; BJP draws flak over negligence

Bengaluru (Karnataka), Jan 10 (ANI): The Bengaluru metro pillar collapse incident that is becoming the key point of criticism against the BJP, claimed 2 lives on January 10. The under-construction metro pillar collapsed near Nagavara on the outer ring road in Bengaluru. Taking a swipe at the BJP over the ‘40 per cent commission’ controversy, Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar labelled the incident a result of the same. Congress leader Sowmya Reddy blamed BJP’s negligence and corruption as the culprit behind the accident. Experts have been called to examine and find out the reason behind the collapse, informed police.
