Bhopal celebrates Durga Ashtami with religious fervour

Bhopal (MP), Oct 06 (ANI): On the auspicious occasion of Durga Ashtami, residents of Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal celebrated the 8th day with religious fervour and gaiety. Devotees flocked to Kali Badi Bangla Durga Pooja pandal in Bhopal to offer their prayers and to attend the aarti. During Navratri, nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped. The eight day of Navratri is known as Ashtami. It is one of the most important days of Durga Puja. It is believed that during this time, Devi Chamunda appears to slay demons- Chanda and Munda.
