Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has died in a charter plane crash in Baramati on Jan 28. As per the initial information from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, no person on board survived the crash. At 8.45 am on Wednesday, a chartered aircraft flying from Mumbai to Baramati crashlanded at the runway. Ajit Pawar was onboard along with 2 more personnel (1 PSO and 1 attendant) and 2 crew members. Pawar was travelling to Baramati to attend a public rally for the Zilla Parishad elections.
