Kolkata, Jun 11 (ANI): West Bengal Chief Minister today warned the BJP-led central government against its alleged attempts to impose Hindi on southern states, saying that every state has its own language and heritage, and that the BJP will not get to decide the fate of such states. “Every state has its own heritage and language. It’s our India. BJP will not decide the fate of the state. They will say Tamil Nadu should learn Hindi. Now, one would not do a course of Hindi. This is not done,” Banerjee said in Kolkata where she unveiled the statue of Bengali polymath Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar at Vidyasagar College, where the statue was vandalised last month during a clash between TMC and BJP.
