BSNL, BBNL merger approved: Ashwini Vaishnaw

New Delhi, July 27, (ANI): Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw on July 27 said that the Cabinet has approved the revival of BSNL and also the merger of BBNL and BSNL. “Cabinet has approved revival of BSNL and merger of BBNL and BSNL. BSNL’s services and technology will be upgraded. It’s balance sheet will be de-stressed. Optical fibre network will be improved in order to fulfil PM Modi's vision,” he said.
