Budgam man gifts Kashmiri Pheran to PM Modi on International Pheran Day

Srinagar (J&K), December 21 (ANI): On International Pheran Day, a glowing tribute unfolded when a resident of Budgam in Kashmir presented a traditional Kashmiri Pheran to Prime Minister Modi. The Pheran, a loose-fitting garment worn during winter, holds significant cultural value in the region. The Budgam resident, Jamal Budgami, expressing admiration for the Prime Minister, lauded Modi's dedication to promoting the diverse cultural traditions of India. Jamal Budgami sent the traditional garment to the Prime Minister through the postal service. This gesture serves as a symbolic endeavor to preserve and honor the rich heritage of Kashmir.
