Cabinet approves ownership rights to 40 lakh people living in Delhi’s unauthorised colonies

New Delhi, Oct 23 (ANI): Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar, announced on October 23 that the Union Cabinet has taken the “historic” decision to give ownership rights to 40 lakh people living in unauthorised colonies in Delhi.While addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Minister of State with independent charge for Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri, elaborated the whole scheme. However, the minister also targeted Delhi government for “delaying” the process.
