CAPF companies to be deployed in all poll-bound states: CEC Sushil Chandra

New Delhi, Jan 08 (ANI): While addressing a Press Conference ahead of Assembly election in five states in India, the Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra on January 08 said that sufficient CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) companies will be deployed in all poll-bound states considering the law and order situation and threat perception. “Sufficient CAPF companies will be deployed in all poll-bound states looking at law and order situation and threat perception,” said Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra. Elections are to be held in five states including Goa, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, this year.
