‘Char Dham Yatra’: Pilgrims facing problems as registration gets temporarily halted

Haridwar (Uttarakhand), May 29 (ANI): Hundreds of devotees, who reached Uttarakhand have been facing problems due to the huge crowd at ‘Char Dham Yatra’. They are forced to spend stay and sleep under tin sheds. They are facing various problems ranging from registrations to the non-availability of buses. Speaking on devotees’ plight, Rishikesh Deputy Collector Shailendra Negi on May 29 said, “Currently, ‘Char Dham Yatra’ registration slots are full, registrations are temporarily halted. Pilgrims will be informed when registration resumes. We're telling pilgrims not to fall into the trap of touts.” The registration for the ‘Char Dham Yatra’ was halted till May 25 as the slots were full.
