CM Gehlot assures full support to textile industries

Jaipur (Rajasthan), August 3 (ANI): A delegation of Textile entrepreneurs from Pali district met Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at his official residence. During the meeting, the entrepreneurs discussed various problems which they are facing regarding release of polluted water by industrial units and treatment of the water. After listening textile entrepreneurs’ problems, the Chief Minister assured them that the state government is working towards the permanent solution to combat water pollution which is emanating from the textile industries in Jodhpur, Pali and Balotra. CM Gehlot assured them that state government will fully co-operate textile industry in this matter. CM Gehlot added, “The state government is completely aware about the concerns of entrepreneurs of Jodhpur, Pali and Balotra. In compliance with instructions given by NGT from time to time, Government is upgrading the existing Common effluent Treatment Plants (CETP). Government is also working in collaboration with Rajasthan state Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) and State Pollution Control board to establish new CETP.”
