CM Manik Saha joins Mayer Gaman 2025, leads Durga immersion with devotion and enthusiasm

Description: Agartala (Tripura), October 4, 2025 (ANI): Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha attended the Mayer Gaman 2025 ceremony, marking the farewell of Goddess Durga on Vijaya Dashami. Continuing his annual tradition, he enthusiastically participated in the grand immersion procession, joining thousands of devotees in the vibrant celebration. Around 15 clubs took part in the colorful procession, carrying beautifully crafted idols of Goddess Durga from in front of Tulashibati School to Dashamighat. The streets were lined with devotees chanting “Bolo Durga Mai Ki Jai” and “Asche Bochor Abar Hobe,” creating an atmosphere of devotion and festivity. The Chief Minister warmly greeted the crowd and commended the peaceful and well-coordinated efforts of the administration and puja committees, highlighting the spirit of unity, devotion, and cultural harmony that the event symbolized.
