CM Neiphiu Rio to request Centre to repeal AFSPA not only in Nagaland but Northeast

Kohima (Nagaland), Dec 07 (ANI): After the Nagaland ambush resulted in the killing of 15 people, including one security personnel, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said we decided to ask Government of India to repeal AFSPA not only in Nagaland but Northeast altogether. “People have spoken very strongly about the unfortunate incident. At today's state cabinet meeting, we decided to ask Government of India to repeal AFSPA not only in Nagaland but Northeast (altogether),” said CM Neiphiu Rio.
