Coimbatore holds its first official Pride parade

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Oct 13 (ANI): Members of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) community in Coimbatore held a ‘Rainbow Pride Parade 2019’ on October 13. Over 70 members of LGBT community participated in the parade. This is Coimbatore city’s first official pride parade. This pride march was held with an aim to fight discrimination against LGBT people in the society.
