Congress MPs stage walkout from Lok Sabha in protest against Unnao incident

New Delhi, Dec 06 (ANI): Congress Members of Parliament staged walkout in Lok Sabha over protest against Unnao incident, where a rape survivor was set ablaze on her way to court. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury expressed anguish over the crimes against women and asserted that on one hand lord Ram temple is being built and on the other 'Sita Maiya' is being set ablaze. Speaking at the session, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, "The Unnao victim has 95% burns, what is going on in the country? On one hand there is a lord Ram temple being built and on the other hand 'Sita Maiya' is being set ablaze. How are criminals feeling so emboldened?"
