Constitution of India extended voting rights to women before England: UP CM Yogi

Gorakhpur (UP), Mar 08 (ANI): Speaking on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Guru Gorakhnath College of Nursing, Mahayogi Gorakhnath University in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on March 08 said that England granted women the Right to Vote after India. “Women and men have got the Right to vote in India from the very beginning. There have been movements in many countries of the world regarding this. England is also known as the Father of modern democracy, granted women the Right to vote after India,” said CM Yogi.
