COVID-19 curbs: Karnataka Minister hints at chances of schools reopening

Bengaluru (Karnataka), Jan 22 (ANI): Amid surge in the COVID-19 cases, the Karnataka Primary & Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh on January 21 hinted at the chances of reopening of schools in the state. “If any COVID positivity comes into a school, the school will have to be closed," the minister said. “The government will be taking a call on reopening of schools in Bengaluru next week,” he said further. Karnataka has been recording a high number of COVID-19 cases with Bengaluru accounting for over half of the new infections.
