COVID: Despite high positivity rate, 95 pc beds vacant, says Maharashtra Health Minister

Mumbai, Jan 20 (ANI): Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on January 20 briefed the COVID-19 situation and stated that despite the high positive rate, the 95 per cent of the beds in the state are vacant. “The positivity rate in Maharashtra is 23.5% but districts like Raigad, Pune, Nashik, Nanded have a much higher positive rate. Despite the high positivity rate, the hospitalisation rate is very less,” he added.
