CP Delhi launches “Yuva 2.0” job skilling to keep youth away from crime

New Delhi, Dec 18 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana, launched “YUVA 2.0” under the aegis of flagship community policing initiative of “YUVA” at Greater Kailash Police Station of South district. Speaking on the occasion, CP Asthana appreciated the endeavour of Delhi police. Three new job skill training centres have been opened with corporate partnership under this next level Yuva initiative. The initiative is intended to engage and steer street children and youth towards the mainstream of society, providing them opportunities to realise their potential through skill development training, so that youngsters do not slip into the world of crime.Through community policing initiatives like YUVA, Delhi Police aims to contain first-time criminals so that they may be motivated to mend their mistakes and help society in nation-building
