CP Delhi visits Outer District to meet field functionaries

New Delhi, February 04 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana reviewed the performance of outer district police in crime prevention and detection at Pitampura Police Lines. Some of the highlighted cases were reviewed in-depth and directions for concerted efforts to solve the pending cases and efforts to ensure proactive steps to prevent reoccurrence were given. During the meeting, the importance of focused attention towards action against organised criminal activities and building up core competence in the separated wings of Investigation and Law and Order at the Police Station level were stressed by the CP. On this occasion, CP Asthana appreciated and felicitated District police personnel who have done exceptional work, in crime prevention, detection and finalised the investigation of sensitive cases in the shortest possible time.
