The purpose of the initiative was to showcase the skill and artistry of local artisans. Serat-ul-Aqsa has worked hard to find the best materials and train her team well. Her goal is to make every item from her workshop a beautiful example of Kashmiri textiles. She also hoped to provide employment opportunities for local artisans and also preserve and promote the traditional art of woolen and Pashmina weaving in Srinagar.
