New Delhi, 07 Dec: Delhi Police organized an awareness program against digital fraud and cyber-crime. In this program, people and school children were informed about the cyber-bullying, cyber-grooming, frauds related to financial transactions. During the ‘Swachtta Pakhwada’ to sensitize the general public and to increase their participation in the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,’ Delhi Police organised ‘Swatch Yamuna Tatt Abhiyan’ at Kalindi Kunj Ghat. Dwarka district police has arrested the illegal arms supplier Harish. Harish used to bring arms from Khalgarh in Madhya Pradesh and supply to Gang who was active in Delhi NCR. Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted an international drug cartel by arresting its two key members Sanjeet Kumar Singh and Pardeep Kumar. Both were receivers of illegal consignment of drugs from North-Eastern states. Delhi Police arrested two persons and solved the cash van robbery case that took place in Dwarka. Police busted a gang which used to manufacture fake cumin in Bawana. The cumin was entirely fake not even adulterated. Four robbers of Hasim Gang were arrested by Delhi Police crime branch solved two sensational app-based kidnapping-cum-robbery cases of cab driver and businessman and his son. Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik inaugurated 'Canteen Van' for CP reserve Staff at New Police Lines, Kingsway Camp. A mini bus was modified by Delhi Armed Police to serve the purpose. They will be deployed in various law and order situations like riots, crowd management, religious gatherings, various festivals, and political rallies etc.
