Centre Approves 320 Additional PG Medical Seats in Himachal Pradesh with Rs 415 Crore Grant

Union Health Minister JP Nadda announced that the Centre had approved 320 additional postgraduate medical seats across six medical colleges in Himachal Pradesh, with a grant of approximately Rs 415 crore. The approved seats include 57 in Hamirpur, 28 in Chamba, 55 in Mandi, 32 in Nahan, 91 in Shimla and 57 in Tanda. Nadda urged the state government to take timely steps to operationalise the new seats.
